African Mangoes

The market for weight loss products is busy and full of merchandise all competing for consumer dollars. They come in formats such as powders, tablets, drinks, and so on. Each one claims to do something different from every other to make their users slim and beautiful. Some go further, promising better health and encourage consumers to look past the mirror to the inner workings of their bodies. In the case of overweight individuals, the chances of developing serious illness increase dramatically.

One recent addition to the market is African mangoes. It is not really the mango fruit which is used to make the supplement, but its pit or nut. In Cameroon, this fruit is known as a Bush Mango and grows wild in the jungle.

Otherwise known as Irvingia Gabonensis, Bush Mango has been found to impact the way a body metabolizes fat and sugar. Consumers report fewer cravings owing to the way the mango alters the behavior of the hormone leptin. This is a communication device which tells the body when to want more food and when to burn stored fat as energy. More of the protein CRP, which encourages resistance to leptin, is released into the blood when a consumer takes the mango supplement, enabling consumers to overcome hunger pangs.

Clinical studies revealed that Irvingia Gabonensis is a major tool in the fight against excess weight. These controlled studies involved more than a hundred overweight individuals. While many took African mango capsules, the control group swallowed placebos. Those participants who took the real supplement lost almost thirty pounds on average, and several inches around the middle.

This is good news for anyone who feels he has tried every diet, weight loss supplement and meal replacement product available without successfully losing weight and keeping it off. More good news is that, according the aforementioned scientific research, consumers also note that their general health improves. Bad cholesterol is reduced by more than twenty five percent. Blood sugar was lowered by nearly a third on average. The studies continue while multiple testimonies support the evidence that, at last, there is a product on the market that works as an aid to weight loss. Users are happy with African mangoes not just because it helps them to lose inches as part of a changed lifestyle, but also makes them healthier so that they can enjoy their new, slimmer bodies for the future.
